Hi there, welcome to Bfree photography, I hope you had a lovely week. Today I will not leave any tips, instead, I will give you some reasons why a smartphone or a amateur photographer will never replace a professional photographer. In fact, even a professional camera wouldn't do it, the person behind the camera does.
With technology improvement at affordable prices, smartphones and amateur cameras appear to have replaced and undervalued the professional photographers work. Why to pay to a professional when a friend can do it? Why to spend so much money when my phone does it with high resolution for free? In this point of view, actually makes no sense at all to pay a professional photographer when "we have the power in our hands". Nowadays smartphones have a lot of similar specs to professional cameras such as exposure, focus and ISO, they even have filters and basic post processing tools. However, despite all those specs, phone cameras have their limitations and as I will explain, professional photography is not only about specs and settings. Professional photography requires, as any other profession, a know how, as being observant in order to find unique moments, is about photo composition, chasing the best light, etc...is much more than a good camera, is even beyond knowledge and experience, requires sensitivity, creativity and being aware to everything in surrounding. Is thinking out of the box, capture essence.
One of the most frequent answers to the question "If you could, what would you save if your house was on fire?" is a photograph or a photo album. Why is that? Could be said that a photograph is worth a thousand words. And that is true. Photographs are indeed really dear to us, they are memories and they arouse emotions, sometimes it even seems they can speak directly with our feelings. They remind us what is important to us and what really matter, they have the power of grab our smile where we are sad.
Photographs are part of our legacy, in a couple of years new members will arrive, others will be gone, life will change year after year. Photographs have this magic of capturing important moments in our lives with all human emotions, which you will gladly share with your family and friends.
That is why professional photography worth the money invested and that is why a phone or even a friend with a good camera but without the skills above mentioned will never replace a professional photographer. Professionals will devote their time capturing important moments, capturing your essence, emotions, friends and family. Never underestimate their work importance, even if it looks dear they invest a lot in their skills and they invest a lot of time to make your photos unique but that will be a conversation for another post. :)
I hope that post has helped to make understand our importance and our efforts to capture the best moments in your life that, even if you momentously forget about them, you will be remembered as soon as you see the photos, albums or other pieces of our work made with lots of love. I hope you enjoyed and hope you return in the future to a sneak peak in my blog and website where I you can see a bit of my work. I hope yous all a great week..bye bye see you then
:)
